If i call fire department, will they remove raccoon on the roof?

i'm not sure it's raccoon or what because i have never seen it but will they come and remove it if i call them for help?


they are making a lot of noises on the roof...

You have 3 choices. The first being pest control, they will set traps and remove the critters. Animal control, depending on where you live, may or may not trap or even take them. The animal control where I live says I have to let them go. The third and most distasteful choice is dealing with the problem yourself. A pellet gun may be enough to get them to find another roof to have their romantic get away on. A 22 will solve the problem and a shot gun will create another problem. The fire department doesnt need to be wake up to get mother natures nocturnal naughty critters off your roof. That is a huge, and I mean huge waste of tax payer money. If you can shoot them just throw rocks or something.If i call fire department, will they remove raccoon on the roof?
If racoons are on your roof, most likely they are living in your attic.





You will need Pest Control people to evacuate your home of the pests, as they are very smart and persistent. Then you will need a handyman or contractor, to repair the damages, and it could be extensive.





Racoons are just large rats, and require only a small opening to enter your home. Racoons are very dangerous too, as their claws are razor sharp and they are strong animals.
The Fire Department is probably busy with much more important issues (like fighting fires...) so you should call animal control instead.

Only if you set them on fire first. Are you sure they're not in your attic, if you can't see them. If they in fact are on your roof they will leave when they get hungry.
The safest choice is animal control, or the closest sporting goods store for a trap....or a rifle.
