What trype of foods does a raccoon like to eat?

The reason for asking this is because there are one or probably two in my house and we have three cats that are in danger as well as my mom and i. I think we found how he gets in and if that is how he was getting in then hes in for good if that was the hole.....but right now, i have a animal trap that can get him if i can put a food they like....and i only have 2hrs to do it be4 i have to leave town to go visit my sister..PLEZ HELP!!!What trype of foods does a raccoon like to eat?
They will eat anything... Try Tuna fishWhat trype of foods does a raccoon like to eat?
Try peanut butter,... they love it,... if you don't have, cat food (wet).
Try cat food, i feed a family of wild coons once in a while and they love it. also try hotdogs and lunchmeet.
They like cat food especially be it dry or wet. But any type of garbage will do ie: fruit, veggies and anything like that. They love leftovers as well. So I would try cat food mixed with leftovers.
They eat pretty much everything, I would try some fruit and garbage mixed together.
the junk food like french fries or hamburger. they love the fats because they lose half their body fats on winters. so they suck on those fats.. wish i drop half of my body fats on winters :O
They really do like cat food. I used to leave food outside for my cats and then raccoons started coming and eating all of the food. You could probably try leaving some of that out, and some raw fish and/or tuna fish just too.

Good luck :]
From what I understand, raccoons have a very restrictive and picky diet. Below is the very short list of foods that raccoons are willing to eat...

1). Anything.
Yeah, they eat anything. What this probably means to you is that they are eating ';anything'; right now and will care not one whit about whatever you put in a trap. I know this ain't pretty but your best bets are to feed them either rat poison mixed in something really yummy like fresh berries and not in a trap, or 22 caliber frangible lead.
