How do I hand raise a baby raccoon?

I named it Bandit.We feed him Milk in a small baby bottle. ....Dunno what to do?How do I hand raise a baby raccoon?
How old is this raccoon? A baby raccoon needs milk replacer. You will need to use a baby bottle or eye dropper to feed it depending how big she/he is. Fox Valley Nutrition sells a milk replacer made just for raccoons. Follow the directions on the package. If you do not have the raccoon on a milk replacer please go out right away and purchase KMR (kitten milk replacer.) It will get very ill and die on regular milk.





You need to find out if it is legal to keep a raccoon where you live. Many states make it illegal to own one, some states you must obtain a permit from the department of natural resources.





Next you need to really do your research. Yes, this little ball of love is sweet and cute right now. They do live to be over 15 years old if taken care of properly. They do and will bite and require lots of patience and quiet discipline. They do not understand the difference between being spanked for being bad or being yelled at from being attacked and will go into defense mode.

Aww... give him to experts so he gets the special needs he can get. No offence, i just think it should be raised by people that know what they are doing...
actually you could use a straw to feed him.... use the straw to feed him from your mouth to support him... then place him in a comfy place for resting...

you don't. my friend had a baby racoon and named it bandit. you name stealer! jk, lol. but he raised it for 3 years and then it died so he got it tattooed on his left arm.
Give him cooked meat...hotdogs are the best. When I was younger we had 2 of them and they ran the house... He had them for 8 years and had to move and took them to the zoo.. You will have fun with me....THey are also good with kids once then get to know you..... Best Of luck with Bandit!!!!
