No. They may start out cute and cuddly but when they hit their ';puberty'; they become the wild animals they were always meant to be, no matter how tame you may think they have become...Mommy can i have a pet raccoon?
Absolutely not. Their natural wild instincts will kick in and they become territorial and defensive.





They are also nocturnal and will want to roam about the house all hours of the night.





Forget the idea of a Raccoon and do not bring it up again. You can have a pet rock or an ant farm, but that's all.
I don't think raccoons are very easily domesticated, and since they are basically a wild animal and can become pretty vicious, then no, you can't have one. And, don't ask again. You can have a pet slug.

I have a Friend who has raised raccoons they are allot like cats except they make chirping chattering sounds they are up all night they will use a little box . they can climb like no other and they sometimes can be ornery .
If you somehow were able to get a really young one, maybe. Wouldn't suggest it though, they have pretty vicious bites and aren't known for being very tamable.
