I know that d-con has a electronic rodent deturant for mice,I am looking for something similer. How do I get a raccoon out of my attic or keep it out with out trapping it?
You'll have to find out where the entrance is for the raccoon (i'll bet it's really a squirrel). If it is a raccoon, it will leave during the night (they are night hunters). How do I get a raccoon out of my attic or keep it out with out trapping it?
Moth Balls! Animals hate the smell of them and will stay away. Buy a few boxes and scatter them around in the attic. The raccoon will quickly decide to live elsewhere. Find the entrance and close it off after he's been driven away by the moth balls.
I second the call to animal control. Raccoons can carry rabies, and trying to take care of them yourself might not be a good idea. Once they get rid of it, you should try to seal up the entrance - other critters will eventually try to get in.
why wouldnt you trap it? ive trapped about 60 coons and take em out far away and let em go to get em away from the house. go to tractor supply and buy a raccoon trap for 30 bucks set it and have raccoon stu
Call animal control if you have it.Otherwise try to see where its entrance is.if you scare it and it has an exit it will flee.Just seal up the entrance so it doesn't come back.
get a foothold trap, shoot it, skin it and sell the hide. man if i had that problem i would be rich
