How bad would a mongoose kill or injure a raccoon or possum?

Can a single mongoose be able to fight off 4 raccoons, if he was trapped, like if we had the mongoose in America.How bad would a mongoose kill or injure a raccoon or possum?
i dont reckon the mongoose would have a chance. raccoons are much bigger, so maybe if the fight was one on one, then the mongoose would be able to put up a fight long enough to make a break for it, but with the 4 raccoons the mongoose would just be a goner - the other 3 would get it once it was busy with the first raccoon.





again, with the possum, i dont think it'd be able to kill one, but it'd certainly be able to hold its own, and there'd probably be a truce after loads of damage was done to each of them :)
