How do I get rid of a Raccoon in a friendly way?

He's been hanging around my house for a few days now, and I really don't want to call a trapper. How do I get rid of a Raccoon in a friendly way?
Strobe light on motion detector, sprinkler on motion detector, dog, predator urine, cayenne pepper. check this out. http://www.doityourself.com/stry/raccoon鈥?/a>How do I get rid of a Raccoon in a friendly way?
Make sure there is no food or water for them. Whatever you do dont wait too long - they get brave and will attack. A raccoon attacked my 6 pound chihuahua during the day and while I was holding the leash! We were told by animal control he had just gotten used to being around people. Make sure your pets (even inside ones) have their rabies shots.
Racoons are very intelligent, very determined and an extreme nuisance.

There is no friendly way to ask him to leave. He probably has a family living in your attic or crawl space.
Call the ASPCA, they will loan you a ';live trap';, then when you catch it, call them back and they will pick it up free.
you can buy a humain trap and trap him ur self that way if he comes back you can trap him again cuz youll have the trap ur self
Is he being destructive?

Then get a hound. That will do it. Make your house less habitable, burn all leaves, snakes...etc.
Open fire on him with ice cubes, it sounds silly but it works.
Call the Fish and Game Office. They will relocate him for you.
Smile nicely as you shoot him.
