How do I clean up after a raccoon was shot in my back yard?

The police had to come to my home today to shoot a raccoon. It kept trying to get into my house and the dog didn't even faze the thing. Harvey was barking nose to nose through the sliding glass door. So we think the raccoon was diseased. My problem is there is blood and guts in my back yard. The snow has turned to ice so I can't shovel it. Should I pour bleach on it? I can't let the dog out without a leash for fear he will get into it. Any suggestions? How do I clean up after a raccoon was shot in my back yard?
Dont pour bleach on it incase the dog licks it, phone your vet and see what they surgestHow do I clean up after a raccoon was shot in my back yard?
shovel up snow and all.... or pour hot water and melt it and then shovel it up... surely you could figure this out
After you chip it out of the ice either by the hot water suggestion above or with a pick walk your dog some place else for a few days. The cold will kill half the bacteria and maybe some nice crows will take the rest.

This is more of a thought than a consolation: unless they took the animal and tested it for rabies, you don't know if it was diseased. It may have been a pet that was raised with dogs.
He knew your dog wasnt coming through the glass, coons are smart and pretty brave for their size, chances of it being diseased are slim, I live in the country so we have them to put up with all the time. If its just whats left that you have to get rid of and they have already disposed of the carcass just wash it away with hot water, the weather will take care of the rest.
