How do I smoke my raccoon hide?

I have already prepared my hide completely, but I wasn't able to smke it. How do I do that with simple materials in my city back yard? Please, its urgent.How do I smoke my raccoon hide?
Do you have a backyard? Size doesn't really matter. If you do, gather up sticks and old boards (none with nails) and go from there. When building a fire, try not to bulid it under a tree.





Build a fire and have the hide ';pitched'; over the smoke. The wood needs to be a little damp to create more smoke. The dryer the wood and the less 'green stuff' (leaves, vines, etc), the cleaner the burn and that means less smoke. You'll need to have the fire made into something that looks like a tepee.

You may need to get a burn permit depending on the weather conditions in your area and since your in the city. Depending on how large the fire will be, you may need a permit, but I'm not sure how that works inside the city limits. If its a small fire, I see no problems, but you may want to call the local fire department to be on the safe side.How do I smoke my raccoon hide?
