i think from whatever state your in, look for agencies like the department of fish and game or the usfish and wildlife service. all states have different names for them. type in your state and type in endangered species, youll get something with a website that ends with a .org and its a governmental agency. its usually the agency who takes care of species that give wildlife permits. usually they give them to people with a degree in biology, science, etc. but try it. good luck.
wtf
I raised 3 coons when I found the mother dead, in Michigan you can care and release them,we cannot have a permit, they love to play in water, when they get older and come in heat, they will become very aggressive and dangerous, be careful
Call the department of natural resources thas a good start
unless you are running a wild life preserve, i dont know of any towns that allow you to legally own such an animal. because it is not domesticated, the risk of it becoming agitated and biting is very high. hence why they are not commonly allowed as pets.
What state do you live in? You should contact the Fish %26amp; Wildlife, or Division of Forrestry, they both should have a website where you can find the information that you need!
are you sure its required?
I have a few of them outside my house near my garbage can. They hang out there every night so just bring a net and your set.
she may be sweet now but when they hit a year or two they really become aggressive.
Bad idea they bite can be mean lots of good domestic pets need a good home
I think a raccoon would be a really poor choice. That really wouldn't be fair to the raccoon, as they are just not people animals by nature and there is so much that they can get into in a house which is dangerous to him
Check with the local dnr but i don't think you can get one
