I have noticed that my mascara tends to ';bleed'; below my eyes during the day. This is even when I make sure to let them dry by not blinking after applying, clearing up any severe clumps, etc.
So far I find that rolling my wand while applying the mascara seems to help avoid clumps and distributes the mascara more evenly. I've also used a cotton swab to lightly dab at my eyelashes. Any other tips?How to avoid raccoon eyes from mascara?
I think this depends on the brand and formulation of the product. I've tried mascaras that tend to crumble but recently I found one that works just the way I want it to. It's Sue Devitt's Black Widow. I've written a review on it on EyeshadowCult.com. I left the link below :)How to avoid raccoon eyes from mascara?
Invest in some water proof mascara, that has ';clump proof'; on the package. Blot the end of you mascara wand on some tissue, as well.
try water proof
Get the Maybelline water proof mascara, it is WONDERFUL and is even hard to get off with make-up remover, but just make sure you don't apply it clumpy, it will be a PAIN!!!!!!!!!
Try waterproof mascara, and also if you are using eyeliner...waterproof eyeliner!This should help...
And don't RUB your eyes....
If you don't want to use waterproof products don't rub your eyes, and try not to ';sweat';!
And if you can't stop rubbing your eyes try these products(sometimes even waterproof products leave u like a racoon if you rub it)
Some suggestions:
Mascara DiorShow -%26gt; even if I rub my eyes i don't get a racoon look
Eyeliner Liner-Stylo by Bourjois -%26gt;very long lasting, but easy to remove....it's ';rub-proof'; and ';water'proof';
:)
I have good luck with the mascaras that use the plastic brush, not the fiber brushes. Cover Girl, Max Factor and Avon all have brushes like that. Look for mascaras that state that they are smudgeproof and clumproof on the package.
